Student Portrait

From a young age, being a teacher was my desire. Since I chose that path and started serving my church as a Sunday School teacher, children have always fascinated me, and I find joy in working with them. It is as if a seed was planted in my heart, and as I nurtured it with experiences and knowledge, my passion for teaching started to grow.

The roots of my commitment to community service were planted in me by my parents who have always emphasized the importance of giving back. Growing up, I witnessed their dedication to donating and actively participating in various community actives. Their selflessness and compassion ignited a fire within me, propelling me to embrace my role in contributing to the betterment of society. I realized that being a teacher would allow me to make a profound impact by shaping young minds and nurturing future leaders.

Challenges, like dark caves, are an inevitable part of life’s journey. Whenever faced with obstacles, I like to spend quiet time to gather my thoughts and explore a different perspective. I firmly believe that no matter how complex the challenge, there is always a solution waiting to be discovered. This mindset helped me to face challenges personally and professionally.

Each new year, I embark on a personal growth journey centered around a specific theme. Themes such as kindness, participation, and leadership have guided my actions, allowing me to continuously evolve and expand my horizons. By setting these intentions, I hold myself accountable for self-improvement and strive to be a better version of myself. I embrace new experiences and step out of my comfort zone to fuel my desire for growth and development.

Unlike many who long for endless hours of leisure, I find solace in work. I find greater fulfillment in making a meaningful contribution than in indulging in idle time. However, I recognize the importance of balance, and I make personal time for myself at least once a week.

These moments of self-care allow me to recharge, reflect, and return to my work with renewed mind.

Throughout my high school and university years, I eagerly pursued part-time jobs to complement my studies. As a high school tutor, I had the opportunity to inspire and empower students, witnessing firsthand their academic growth and personal achievements. Now, in university, I am honored to serve as a manager at the education department’s learning center, overseeing the provision of essential resources and creating an environment conducive to students’ success.

In each step of my journey, my passion for teaching burns brighter. The prospect of molding young minds, nurturing their potential, and shaping their futures fills me with immense gratitude. The dedication instilled by my parents, the resilience forged through challenges, the pursuit of personal growth, and the joy found in work have all played integral roles in shaping my exciting path as an aspiring teacher.
