Education is a powerful tool in the fight against poverty. This is a sentiment that my mother instilled in me from a young age. Growing up in a lower-middle-class family, my parents were unable to prioritize education due to financial constraints. However, they made it a priority for their children and encouraged us to pursue our education to the fullest. My background in a low-income area also taught me about the struggles of blue-collar workers and their surrounding socio-economic issues. Throughout these rough years, I have come to believe that technology can solve a wide range of current social concerns of Myanmar, and my dream is to use my education to give back to the community I grew up in and provide better lives.
As mentioned, Myanmar is currently facing several challenges that are impacting the country’s development and hindering its potential for growth. One of the biggest issues is brain drain, which is resulting in a depletion of human resources. This is a major concern as it is preventing the country from fully utilizing its talented and skilled workforce. Another issue is the lack of access to quality education for many students, particularly those in remote and underprivileged areas. Many sociodemographic issues are keeping certain pupils from acquiring quality education.
After having studied at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) for four years, I will be well-equipped to contribute to the development of Myanmar and address these issues. I am particularly passionate about using technology to improve education and provide access to quality education for students in remote and underprivileged areas.

I believe that technology can play a significant role in addressing the challenges that Myanmar is facing and ICT-enabled educational approaches will be an important component of the solution. One way that technology can be used to improve education in Myanmar is through the use of AI-powered virtual tutors and interactive learning platforms. These tools can provide students with the same opportunities and resources as those in more developed areas, which can give all students the chance to succeed. Additionally, by incorporating robotics technology in the classroom, we can provide hands-on, engaging learning experiences for students and help them develop valuable technical skills.
One way that AI can address the brain drain is by creating job opportunities in Myanmar. My expertise in AI and robotics can be utilized to contribute to the development of various industries in Myanmar such as healthcare, transportation, and agriculture which will create more job opportunities. In addition, I intend to establish a start-up institution that will provide coding training, seminars, and competitions to give birth to young IT talents. My organization will function as a shadow board for cultural and digital growth and will bring together international and local investors, as well as the original ideas of young prodigies. By connecting with the majority of the indigenous people, I believe I can significantly contribute to tackling Myanmar’s brain drain issue. I hope my expertise in this field can greatly contribute to the growth and development of these industries in Myanmar, ultimately helping to improve the lives of the people in my home country.
In conclusion, my passion for technology and my desire to give back to my community have led me to pursue a career in AI and robotics. I am grateful for the opportunity to study at KMITL and am eager to utilize my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in Myanmar. I believe that through technology, we can alleviate poverty and improve education in developing countries, and I am determined to play a role in this effort. I am resolute in making a positive impact on society by utilizing my skills and knowledge to improve education and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in various industries in Myanmar.
