My name is Htet, and I am from Myanmar. Ever since I was young, I have been curious about how things work, and that curiosity led me to pursue engineering. I passed the matriculation exam with strong results and am passionate about my studies. I believe that hard work and dedication are the keys to success.
Growing up in a middle-class family, education was always emphasized. My parents instilled in me the importance of striving for excellence in everything I do. I attended a good school and was fortunate to have access to resources and opportunities that many others did not. Despite that, I have always been conscious of the challenges people face around me.
This awareness led me to volunteer my time teaching English and mathematics to underprivileged children. Through that experience, I learned that education is not just about acquiring knowledge but about empowering people to break the cycle of poverty and achieve their dreams.
As an engineering student, my passion for learning has only grown stronger. I am constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills, and I have participated in various engineering projects and research activities that have deepened my understanding of the field.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy gaming, watching films and series, and listening to music. I am also an avid sports enthusiast and enjoy bowling, football, and basketball. I find that sports teach important life skills — teamwork, discipline, and leadership — that have made me a better engineer and a better person.
