I have always been driven by my ambition to pursue higher education. I spent two and a half years studying Information Science and Technology at the University of Technology (Yatanarpon Cyber City) in Myanmar, maintaining a GPA of 3.37 and developing a strong passion for computer programming.
Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and the unstable situation in Myanmar, I remained determined to find opportunities to grow my skills and increase my knowledge.
That determination paid off when I was offered a four-year tuition fee waiver scholarship to study Software Engineering at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) in Thailand. During my two years at KMITL, I have maintained a GPA of 3.48.
My deepest desire is to return to Myanmar after graduation and contribute to its development through software engineering.
I firmly believe that technology can be a powerful tool for poverty eradication, creating jobs and enabling people in developing countries to access broader markets. I intend to design low-cost, user-friendly software applications and online platforms that promote e-learning and expand access to opportunity.
Digital literacy remains a privilege for many in the least developed countries, including Myanmar. My ultimate goal is to empower people in remote and underserved areas to become digitally literate, while developing systems that help them use technology responsibly, ethically, and safely. I am already collaborating with organizations and local communities to develop workshops and programs that provide this kind of education and support.

My family’s financial hardship has made it difficult to pursue these goals. While my scholarship covers tuition, I still need funding for housing, books, supplies, and transportation. A Zomia student loan would allow me to focus on my studies without the burden of financial strain.
I am a hardworking and motivated student with a deep commitment to contributing to Myanmar through software engineering. I believe technology can effectively address social challenges like poverty and digital exclusion, and I am determined to build the solutions and programs that can make a difference for underserved communities in my country.
