My name is Chris. I am a proud citizen of Myanmar with roots in the culturally rich regions of Kachin State and Shan State.
Raised in a household characterized by resilience and compassion, I am the third of four siblings. The values of education and community service were instilled in me from a young age.
One hallmark of my upbringing is my ability to navigate multiple languages with ease. Fluent in Chinese, Thai, Shan, and English, I have always viewed language as a bridge connecting diverse cultures and fostering understanding. This linguistic proficiency has broadened my worldview and enabled me to serve as a conduit for communication in various contexts.
Driven by a fervent desire to contribute to society, I embarked on a journey of volunteerism as an English teacher for ethnic children in conflict-affected areas. Working with NGOs, I dedicated my time and skills to empower marginalized communities through education.
Despite the challenges, my commitment remained unwavering, fueled by the belief that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their circumstances. In addition to my role as an English teacher, I found another avenue for service as a content writer for an educational organization.
Through this platform, I was able to share information about scholarships and opportunities for study abroad. By disseminating knowledge and resources, I aimed to open doors to higher education for aspiring students, transcending barriers and unlocking potential.
