My name is KP, and I have a keen interest in computer networking and engineering. I was born in Insein Township, where my father worked as a security officer for an international company and my mother served as a finance clerk in a government office. Both parents are now unemployed. My father left his job and my mother retired due to health issues. Despite these challenges, they have always emphasized the importance of education and supported us in every way possible.
I began my education at BEPS (6) Insein and continued to BEHS (1) Insein for middle school. Understanding my passion for engineering, my parents encouraged me to enroll at Government Technical High School in 2014, where the government provided a monthly stipend to all students. My hard work paid off when I was selected as an exchange student to Japan in 2016.
After high school, I pursued a Liberal Arts Program majoring in Computer Studies at Myanmar Institute of Theology, while concurrently studying Electrical Engineering at Hmawbi Technological University. Unfortunately, I had to leave the engineering program due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the unstable situation in Myanmar.
After completing my bachelor’s degree at Myanmar Institute of Theology, I am now pursuing a master’s degree in Internet of Things (IoT) System Engineering at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand. I have been awarded a 75% scholarship, which has allowed me to complete two semesters. My parents’ unemployment, however, creates a financial burden that has led me to seek a loan from Zomia to continue my studies.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music and news on YouTube, and solving puzzles like Sudoku and chess. These activities not only relax me but also enhance my knowledge and critical thinking skills. I occasionally go cycling with friends, which adds to my enjoyment of leisure time.
